Back in UK!

This time we took off to the Tunnel Barn Farm in the Midlands, where Fredrik and I were invited to participate in the Browning UK team meeting and the Browning Warhorse pole match.

Believe it or not! We had three days in UK, without rain and with temperatures between 15-18 degrees!

The fishing then? -Well, compared with most of our English colleagues our results was not to impressive.

In three days, we caught just over one hundred pounds each. Maybe not so much, but an enjoyable experience with interesting fishing.

My best result was at the Warhorse match, caught just over 40 pounds (mainly F 1), fishing shallow, using 4 mm expanders as hook bait, feeding 2 mm soaked pellets by hand and hard pellets from the pot. “The champ” Bob Nudd, where sitting two pegs to the left weighed in 49 pounds, so it was not too bad.

Fishing the small F ones was fun but sometimes a frustrating game.

The most important, was the match over three days, for best “Swedish angler”, and “yes”, I managed to beat Fredrik with 2-1 in sets. Competing for the daily Guinness, that is deadly serious!

Thanks to Frerk, Justin, Kye and all others for invitation, great arrangements and all help.

Tight Lines!
